D. F. Clements for years a gate keeper at the car works, died yesterday afternoon at his home at 620 Bellevue St.
The funeral will be this afternoon at 1 o'clock, the Rev. J. M. Solley officiating. Internment at Forrest Cemetery.
The car plant will close at 3:30 so employees may attend last rites over a friend and comrade.
The following have been requested to act as pall bearers: Ed Henden, Bob Williams, W. D. Blackstone, C. P. Roebuck, W. C. Vanzant, Arthur Heneguest.
He was 51 years old and leaves a family. He was a faithful workman and a valuable citizen. He died of tuberculosis."
