LOVINGSTON - Lola (Bell) Truslow Bryant, 80, died Tuesday (February 19, 1991) in Lovingston Health Care Center. She was born in Nelson Co. on July 24, 1910, a daughter of the late Everette and Minnie Carter Truslow. She was a member of the Beech Grove Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Thomas Bryant; three brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, Arthur Kermit Bryant of Baltimore and John Howard Bryant of Greenfield (formerly of Massachusetts); three daughters, Hilda Thurston of Crozet, Doris Hughes of Nellysford an Virginia Earleen Nay of Charlottesville; three brothers, Cloudy Truslow of Waynesboro, Hampton Truslow of Faber and Jessie Truslow of Afton; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Byrum-Parr Funeral Home. Roseland, by the Rev. Ron Sathe. Burial will be in Rockfish Valley Baptist Church cemetery. Active and honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
