Mrs. Adah McGowan Dies at Farm home
Funeral services for Mrs. Adah McGowan, who died at her home south of town Friday morning, were held at the home Sunday at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. E. H. Bradfield officiating. Mrs. McGowan's maiden name was Moffat. While she was a young girl her parents moved here from Ohio. Her husband Silas died ten years ago. She was a charter member of the O. So E. Z. Club. Mrs. McGowan was 75 years of age. She is survived by a son Glenn, and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Drullinger, many other relatives and friends. Interment was in the Hill cemetery.
Her death record shows her name as Ada Mary, but family notes show her name as Ada May.
