On February 9, 1984 at Oakview Place, Lola Helen Rombough, aged 85 years, late of 211 Lazdal Rd., widow of Ormond Rombough, who predeceased her in 1964.
Born in Messina, N.Y., Mrs. Rombough came to Winnipeg in 1911 from Campbell's Bay Que. and had since resided here. She was a former member of Broadway-First Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by and infant daughter Lola Louise and two grandchildren, Robert Rombough and Lola Williams. Surviving are five daughters and two sons, Beryl and Walter Hudson of Winnipeg, Tannys and Lloyd Williams of Winnipeg, Muriel and Don Allan of Wwinnipeg, June and Peter Nabe of Regina, Marilyn and Earl Smith of Dryden Ont., Ken and Edith Rombough of Winnipeg, Wallace and Marjoria Rombough of Victoria, 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, Broadway at Furby, Monday, February 13 at 2:30 p.m. the Rev. N.W.B. Phills will officiate. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Messrs. Glenn Hudson, Bruce Williams, Gordon Williams, Brent Rombough, Gary archer and Mirris Kulbaba.
Should friends desire contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
Friends called at the chapels on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.
