Montgomery, Sept. 5 – Mrs. Frances Brown Lovejoy, age 32, wife of Thomas J. Lovejoy, President of the Montgomery Bank and Trust Company, died Saturday morning.
Before her marriage, Mrs. Lovejoy, was Miss Frances Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Brown, of Talbotton, Ga. Her mother was Mrs. Susan Dowdell Brown, a member of the Dowdell family, prominent in East Alabama. She is a niece of Chief Justice J. R. Dowdell, of the Supreme Court of Alabama. Judge Armstead Brown of the criminal division of the City Court of Montgomery, and Dowdell Brown, manager of an insurance company in Atlanta, Ga., are brothers. – Opelika News.

She was originally interred in Oakwood Cemetery in Montgomery, Alabama. On March 12, 1940 her body was disinterred from Lot 2 Square 41 Survey 3 and removed to Hawkinsville, GA by order of family. Tucker and Belser in charge.
