Before her marriage, Mrs. Lovejoy, was Miss Frances Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Brown, of Talbotton, Ga. Her mother was Mrs. Susan Dowdell Brown, a member of the Dowdell family, prominent in East Alabama. She is a niece of Chief Justice J. R. Dowdell, of the Supreme Court of Alabama. Judge Armstead Brown of the criminal division of the City Court of Montgomery, and Dowdell Brown, manager of an insurance company in Atlanta, Ga., are brothers. – Opelika News.
