MARSHALL A. FANT Anderson - Marshall A. Fant, 77, of 1313 E. River St., died Wednesday. A native of Anderson, son of the late Rufus and Pearl Cochran Fant, he was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, a veteran of World War I and co-owner of Fant's Book Store. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lou Ellen Ligon Fant; tow sons, William L. and Marshall A. Fant, Jr. of Anderson; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at McDougald's North Chapel. Burial will be in New Silver Brook Cemetery.
