Karl Kaufmann, 50, of 2825-35th St., Two Rivers, died Thursday afternoon, March 15, 1990, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Paul Schumacher will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Kaufmann was born March 26, 1939, at Mishicot, son of Clara Skwor Voelker and the late Ray Kaufmann. He attended Parochial School at Holy Cross, Mishicot, and Mishicot High School graduating with the Class of 1957. He served in the United States Marines from 1957 to 1959. Mr. Kaufmann was employed by the city of Two Rivers as a Lineman from 1960 until 1988. He married the former Mary Ann Mahlik, August 27, 1960, at Two Rivers.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann, three sons and daughter-in-law, Keith and Ann of Green Bay, Tim a student at UW-Green Bay and Bruce a student at Washington High School both of Two Rivers; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Rick Schuh of Freedom, Wisconsin; his mother, Clara Voelker of Mishicot; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Roger and Pat of Brownsville, Minnesota, Richard of Rockford, Illinois; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Phyllis Mott of Mishicot, Eileen and Ed Walodkiewicz of Dayton, Ohio, his twin sister, Karen and Wayne Anthony of Two Rivers; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Don and Janet Mahlik of Two Rivers, Bob and Kathy Mahlik of Two Rivers, Marlene and Bob Taylor of Manitowoc; four grandchildren (private). He was preceded in death by his father, mother-in-law and five brothers-in-law.
Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Friday. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m.
