My cousin, Bob was the son of Leo and Elma Painter Amelunke. (My fathers younger sister) He was married on May 12, 1962 to Adrianna Messmer, and was the father of Dale and David Amelunke and Sandra Farrow. He was also survived by two brothers, Eldon and Leo, Jr. and five grandchildren. He died of Kreutzfeld-Jakob disease. He served in the Missouri National Guard for eight years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Gordonville, where he is buried, and its men's club. His paternal grandparents are also buried here.
