Wencel Skwor, 69, Cooperstown farmer and lifelong county resident, died last night at the Holy Family hospital, following a six months illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Skwor home and at 2 o'clock at the Melnik Presbyterian church, the Rev. Yaroslav Vrany officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery..
Mr. Skwor was born in Cooperstown in 1876 and in 1909 married Miss Mary Trochil. They located on the homestead farm. Mrs. Skwor died 10 years ago. He was a member of the C.Z.B.J. lodge of Melnik..
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Frederick Rusboldt and Miss Evelyn Skwor, of this city; two sons, Theodore, on the home farm, Harvey at Camp McCoy; four brothers, Dr. Charles and Joseph of Mishicot, John, of this city; Adolph of Bessemer, Mich.; sister, Mrs. Joseph Libal of Green Bay; and five grandchildren..
The body will be moved to the Skwor home from the Husar funeral home, Kellnersville, Sunday at 3 p.m.
