Phillip E. Case, 82 of Moores Hill passed away Sunday July 21, 2013 at The Waters in Dillsboro.
Phillip was born Friday December 12, 1930 in Bracken County Kentucky, the son of Phillip and Virginia (Ruf) Case. He married Grace Case who preceded him in death Oct 25, 2011.
He worked as a construction worker for Keller Construction in Independence, Kentucky. Phillip was a member of the VFW in Augusta Ky. Phillip was a very active member in the VFW, being a Post Commander for over 20 years; he loved to hunt, fish, and he volunteered at the VA Hospital.
Phillip is survived by his son Dale (Karen) Case of Moores Hill, Sister: Virginia Cummings of FL.7 Grandchildren. Phillip was preceded in death by wife: Grace Case, parents, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be Wednesday July 24, 2013; 11AM at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home, Moores Hill with pastor Charles Miller officiating.
Burial with military rites will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery at Moores Hill. Visitation will be 9-11AM Wednesday July 24, 2013; at the funeral home.
