"Our Beloved Hero", Jordan Brian Satterfield returned to his Heavenly Home on October 17, 2000.

As a young boy he valiantly waged a five year battle with leukemia, which he overcame. Recently, however, he was called upon to fight yet another battle, this time a brain tumor, which ultimately took his life.

He was born on April 3, 1985 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Scott and Dana Satterfield. There are no words to express how much he loved his six sisters and two brothers, his aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and his Nannie and Pappie and little sweet nephew.

He dearly loved the time he spent with his family on numerous activities especially up at their cabin in Yellowstone. He enjoyed fishing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, skate boarding and computer games.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was active in his teacher's quorum. He spent a lot of time with his father when he was Scout Master and was working on being an Eagle Scout.

He attended Indian Hills Middle School and was looking forward to being back with his fellow classmates once the illness was over.

Jordan is survived by his parents of Sandy, Utah as well as his six sisters and two brothers as follows: Natasha and Shaun Mitchell, Parker, Idaho; Vanessa and Dayton Snarr, Driggs, Idaho; Jacob and Altee Satterfield, South Jordan, Utah; Melissa A., Melanie M., Amy R., Andrew J., and Holly, all of Sandy, Utah; grandparents: Homer and Marquente Satterfield, Pocatello Idaho; and Nannie and Pappie Joy and Iver Elg of Boise, Idaho; great grandfather Delbert Holland, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and his special little nephew: Quade Snarr, Driggs, Idaho. Also many uncles and aunts and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 23, 2000, 12 noon at the Northridge Ward, 11196 S. Wasatch Blvd. Friends may call Sunday at Larkin Sunset Gardens 10600 S. 1700 E. Sandy, Utah from 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the ward 10:45-11:45 a.m.
