CALVIN H. BAXTER
Calvin H. Baxter, 56, of 45 Franklin Square, died Wednesday evening, Sept. 12, 1984, at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont.
He was born in Milton Feb. 1, 1928, the son of Ethan and Margie (Fitch) Baxter.
Mr. Baxter retired from service in the U. S. Army after 21 years, and served in both the Korean conflict and Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian (Bullock) Baxter; two sons, Charles of California and Lyle of Burlington; three daughters, Mrs. George (Brenda) Maglaris of
Burlington, Mrs. Amie (Margo) Laberge of Charlotte and Margie of Burlington; his mother, of Colchester; three brothers, Clinton of Milton, Fitch of Swanton and Ethan Jr. of Maine; two sisters, Norma Zeno of Milton and Bernice Hibbard of Milton; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Earl, predeceased him, being killed in action
in the Korean conflict.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Corbin and Palmer Funeral Chapel, 71 S. Union St., Burlington. Interment will follow in New Mount Cemetery in Burlington. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
