Corey S. Erlitz, age 40, died in Hayward, California, April 22nd, 2013. The son of Marc and Maria Erlitz, Corey was born in Seattle, Washington on November 27, 1972.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington and working for several years as a massage therapist, he was graduated from Life West Chiropractic College, Hayward, California in 2008. Shortly thereafter he established a chiropractic practice in Freemont, California, where he was beloved by both patients and staff alike.
Corey is survived by his parents, Marc and Maria; siblings, Jill (Charles Arcoleo) and Elisa (Dan Barr); uncle, Joel (Andrea Selig) Erlitz; nieces, Ava and Nola Arcoleo; and loving partner, Ivy Duong.
Corey was loved by all for his patience, kind and gentle manner, remarkable sense of curiosity, and devotion to family, friends and patients.
Funeral services took place Friday, April 26th at Temple B'nai Torah, 15727 NE 4th St. Bellevue, WA, with internment following at Herzl Memorial Park, 16501 Dayton Ave N, Seattle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to an organization that will best fulfill his vision of making the world a better place.
