Joyce G. Hastings, 68, died peacefully at her home in the Colony, Texas on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Joyce was born December 17, 1944 in Bristow, Oklahoma, and was the daughter of the late Loyd Elmer Reed and Annie Elizabeth Reed. Joyce was married November 17, 1963 in Wichita, Kansas to Robert James Hastings. Joyce is survived by her husband, two daughters; a sister; and two grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Annie Reed, brother Harold Reed, brother-in-law Franklin Powers, and grandson Logan James Hardin. Joyce was a member of, and attended The First United Methodist Church of Little Elm. She was a loving daughter, devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
