Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark Catholic Church, Two
Rivers. The Rev. John Neuser will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross
Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Garceau was born June 29, 1922, at Two Rivers, son of the late William and
Mathilda Oestrich Garceau Sr. He married Charlotte Skwor Oct. 11, 1952. She
preceded him in death July 25, 1966. He then married Marilyn Wery Sept. 1, 1967,
at Manitowoc. Mr. Garceau was a cement truck driver for Behringer, retiring nine
years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; a son, John at home; five daughters, Mrs.
David (Mary) Yanda of Two Rivers, Ann Marie at home, Mrs. Tim (Beth) Schramm of
Two Rivers, and Rita Mae and Rose Mary at home; three stepsons, Thomas Surma and
Emil Surma of Two Rivers, and Randy Surma of Racine; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Joseph
(Marlene) Jacobs of Two Rivers; two brothers, Robert Garceau of Two Rivers, and
William Garceau of Mishicot; a sister, Mrs. Eugene (Alice) Ducat of Manitowoc,
and a grandson, Shawn Jacobs. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 4
o'clock this Friday evening where a memorial service will be at 7 o'clock.
