"Dr. Willis Silverstein, 70, of 28 N. Pardside ave., physician and surgeon at 9 S. Kedzie ave., and a board of health physician for 35 years prior to 1959, died yesterday [24 Sep 1962] in Michael Reese hospital. He was a captain in the army medical corps in World War I. Surviving are his widow, Elsie; a son, Robert; a daughter, Mrs. Della Danzinger; four grandchildren, four brothers, and one sister. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel at 1300 Devon ave."
