She was born on March 4, 1921 , in Geneva, Indiana, to Samuel C and Alta C Fink Bailey. Neola is survived by her daughter, Rhana (Sam) Rees, daughter-in-law, Susan Carnes, sister, Kathryn Wittig, grandchildren, Rene (Brian) Sobus, Sam Rees, Doug Rees, Greg (Stacy) Rees, Jeff (Brooke) Rees, and great grandchildren, Morgan, Sam, Jack, Matt, and Kaylee Rees, sister-in-laws, Susan Bailey, Betty Bailey, care giver Susan Curry. She is proceeded in death by her husband William H Carnes, son William H Carnes IV, brothers Ray, Keith, and Max Bailey.
Funeral service will be Thursday, Juy 12, at 1pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary with visitation starting at 11:00am until service time. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
