Jerald E. "Jerry" Teaney, 58, of Dillsboro, IN, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 in Dillsboro, IN.
He was born Tuesday, November 23, 1954 in Batesville, IN
He worked as a Dialysis Machine Tech. for Indiana Dialysis for several years and for Royal Coach for 5 yrs
Jerry was a 1973 Graduate of Aurora High School, a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Farmers Retreat.
He was a Charter Member of the Dillsboro Jaycees.
Jerry was a volunteer EMT at Dillsboro for 10 years.
He was very proud of being an EMT, he even delivered a baby on one of his runs.
He was very caring and loved to help people.
He was the founder of the Dillsboro Survivors Support Group.
Jerry is survived by:
Mother, Audrey J. Teaney, Aurora, IN; Daughter. Lucinda (Michael) Bostick, Indianapolis, IN; Son. Jared (Missy) Teaney, Dillsboro, IN; Brother, Michael (Nola) Teaney, Aurora, IN; Sister, Carla Teaney Blair, Aurora, IN; Grandchildren, Donovan, Aidan & Teagan Bostick and Courtney, Caitlin & Jacob Teaney.
He was preceded in death by his Father: Earl Teaney, Wife: Rhonda Kay Teaney and Brother: Harold Teaney.
Friends will be received at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana for a Memorial Visitation from 5:00-8:30 pm Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Garry Wickert officiating.
