Harley H. Sampson
1908-1988

Harley H. Sampson, 79, Marion, Ind. died Thursday, March 17, 1988 at his home.

Sampson was born in Orma, a son of the late Marsh and Annabell Sampson. He was a retired employee of Monarch Rubber, Spencer, was a member of Scottish Rite Lodge No. 83, Linden, the Orient Valley of Charleston, the Order of Eastern Star in Fairmont, Ind., the IOOF Lodge No. 246 in Minnora. He was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are three sons, John Sampson of Marion, George Mace of Cass City, Ind., and Charles Mace of Marion; three daughters Doris Moore of Sweetser, Ind., Kathleen Cottrell of Marion and Mary Cottrell of Landess, Ind.; a brother, Carl Sampson of Orma; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, 1 p.m., at the Orma United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bert Mollohan officiating and burial was in the Orma Cemetery. Masonic graveside services were held.
