The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 1999, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
A native of Guilford County, Mr. Hill attended Bales Wesleyan Church. He retired from Pete Wall Plumbing and was a veteran of WWII, serving in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Rule Hill of the home; daughter, Teresa McClarren of Greensboro; sisters, Garnett Clark, Jean Berghuis, and Mary Douthit; brother, Delbert Hill; granddaughter, Tara Osborne; and great-grandchildren, Stefan, Tori, and Kyle.
