Larry graduated from Valley High School in West Des Moines and served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence N. and Dorothy (Septer) Allen.
Larry is survived by his wife, Linda of Ellenton, FL; children: Mitzi (Tony) Bojar of MN, Kevin of MN and David (Jackie) of CO; stepsons, Ron (Mary) Roberts of FL and Tom (Keaw) Roberts of CO; and ten grandchildren.
