YORK - Elsie May Ilgenfritz, 76, of Springettsbury Township, died at 3:56 a.m. Thursday at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late George F. Ilgenfritz Sr.
The service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Pleasureville United Methodist Church, 2606 N. Sherman St., York. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York. Visitation will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. The Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ilgenfritz was born Feb. 15, 1925, in York. She was the daughter of the late George Herbert and Mabel (Wells) Senft.
Mrs. Ilgenfritz is survived by a son, George F. Ilgenfritz Jr. of York; two daughters, Karlo R. Ilgenfritz of York and Portia M. Ilgenfritz of Hallam; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Samuel F. Rhoades of Quarryville; and two sisters, Bessie Virginia Cunningham and Cecelia A. Wenzel, both of Lancaster. Mrs. Ilgenfritz was preceded in death by a son, Anthony W. Ilgenfritz, in 1989.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Steven M. Livermore, pastor of Pleasureville United Methodist Church in York.
