Roy Merl (Bob) Davis, of Austin, Texas, died Monday, October 19, 1998, at the age of 69.
The son of Josie and Charles Davis, who preceded him in death, Roy Davis was born June 26, 1929, in Longdale, Oklahoma.
Roy Davis is survived by his wife of 51 years, Thelma Davis; son, Donald Roy and his wife, Deborah, of San Antonio; and son, Merl Dean, of Austin. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Dawn Davis, of Dallas, Daniel Davis, of San Antonio, and Karissa and Lucas Davis, of Austin. In addition, Roy Davis is survived by one brother, Charles (Bill) Davis and his wife, Lois, of Citrus Heights, California.
The family will received friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 1998, in Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home, where funeral serves will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 1998, in the Chapel of the Oaks. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
