Born in Mart, Tx he is the son of Monta Crouch Miles, Sr and Alaska "Laska" E Johnson. Monta had a sister named Mary Jane Miles who married Rex Kveton. Monta grew up in Yoakum, Tx, graduated from Texas A&M. He first married Margaret Hetherington in 1939, they had two daughters, Janice and Judy.
He second married Maryon Ruth Yentzen, they had a daughter Jane and he adopted Maryon's son Jack. He third married Victorine W Blanton. Monta died in Dunklin, MO and is interred in Jefferson Co., TX.
Survived by step-son Jack Dorman, daughters Janice, Judy and Jane, one niece Mary; grandchildren: Cindy, Lisa, Melanie, Brian, Traci and Andrew; great-grandson Braxton, great-granddaughters Lauren and Taylor.
