Services for Mr. Charles Wilburn Chessor, 76, of Bon Aqua, who died on Friday, March 25, 2005 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, were held on Tuesday, March 29 at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville.

A native of Coble, Mr. Chessor was the son of the late John and Bobbie Milan Chessor. He was a supervisor for Dana Retail, former owner of C and N Gallery in Lyles, a member of the Centerville Church of Christ, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the Hickman County Rescue Squad for 21 years including service as chaplain.

He leaves two sons, Charles R. Chessor of Perido [sic] Bay, Fla., and Duane Chessor of Nunnelly; two sisters, Inez Gilbert and Marie Boehms, both of Centerville; six grandchildren and his great-grandchild.

The funeral service was conducted by Bro. Bill McDonald and was followed by burial in the Chessor Cemetery in Centerville.
