Theresa Mary Louise Schumaker, 93, Clifton, died December 7, 2004, at Community Care, Inc., Clifton. She was born November 22, 1911, in Washington County, Kansas, to Peter and Leda Bechard Racette.
She was raised in the Clifton community. She married Ed Schumaker on April 10, 1928. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1983. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Altar Society, Senior Citizen Center and the Card Club, all of Clifton.
Survivors include a daughter, Doreen Cox and husband Francis, Clifton; a son Gary Schumaker and wife Sharon, Topeka; one brother Robert Racette, Buhler, Kan.; and three sisters, Irene Kearn, Pocatello, Idaho; Blanche Wilson, Clyde; and Shirley Wagner, Wichita; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl in 1950, a brother and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 11, 2004, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clifton.
Memorials may be given to Community Care of Clifton or the St. Mary's Catholic Church.
