Armand "Frenchie" Bouchard, 81, of Grants Pass died Wednesday, July 30, 1997, at Three Rivers Community Hospital's Washington campus.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church in Grants Pass with the Revs. Lawrence D. Krause of the First Assembly of God Church and Bill Papotta of Lancaster, Calif., officiating.

Private interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.

He was born on June 12, 1916, in Caribou, Maine. On Nov. 24, 1978, in Whittier, Calif., he married the former Evelyn Hotmer.

He retired in 1982 as a supervisor for Western Gear Corporation at Industry, Calif. He moved to Grants Pass in 1980 from Whittier.

Bouchard was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. He was also a member of the Golden Eagles Kiwanis and a former member of the Caveman Kiwanis.

He was a volunteer driver for the Josephine County Retired Senior Volunteer Programs.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Sandy Glenna of Florida; two stepdaughters, Shirley Bushman of McMinnville and Sharon Green of Grants Pass; five stepsons, Leo Green of Maine, John Green and Charles Green, both of California, Bill Papotta of Lancaster, Calif., and Kenneth Papotta of Simi Valley, Calif.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Bouchard.
