Born in Aiken County, he was a son of Mrs. Frances Julia Baggett Curtis and the late Alfred Edward Curtis. He was a carpenter and a Baptist.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Brenda Curtis; a son, Thomas A. Curtis Jr. of Edgefield; a stepson, Ricky D. Faircloth of Langley; daughters, Misses Tiffany and Wanda Curtis and Mrs. Donna Lowe and Mrs. Pamela Williams, all of Langley.
Mrs. Cindy Gaskins of Hendersonville, N.C., Mrs. Patricia Hiers of Edgefield and Mrs. Tabatha Tager of Graniteville; his mother of Dalton, Ga.; brothers, Calvin and Donnie Curtis, both of Graniteville, Ed Curtis of Dalton and Roger Curtis of Aiken; and sisters, Mrs. Shebra Bratcher and Mrs. Linda Snipes, both of Dalton.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Posey's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Langley Cemetery.
