Shreveport businessman. He was in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963, and was about 25 from the presidential limousine when John F. Kennedy was assassinated. The Shreveport Times and Journal both reported on this. Note the wrong initial attributed to him in The Times' writeup.

Mudd seen on the steps of the Grassy Knoll wearing a red shirt along with 2 other spectators: Emmett J. Hudson (the Dealey Plaza groundskeeper), and a still unidentified young black man.

And in this clearer version of a frame from the Muchmore film from Robin Unger's archives it appears he is wearing COWBOY BOOTS! His shirt appears to have a red plaid appearance in some frames but this is the first time i've seen the boots.
