Doris was born at Foraker, Oklahoma on December 20, 1925 to George Evert and Lillian M. (Phillips) Kerns. She grew up and received her education Osage County at Foraker, Avant and Barnsdall. She was married to Clyde Glen Kindley on February 23, 1942 at Pawhuska.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Howard Kerns and George Kerns and one sister, Evelyn Kerns Haymes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, September 13, 2013 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Robert Hamm officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
