A cerebral hemmorrhage caused the death of E. B. Terwilliger, at his home, 118 Broadway, Glassport, Pa., Sunday morning, May 30, 1926. Mr. Terwilliger was apparently in the best of health, and had attended a ball game Saturday afternoon. He was born in Clarion County, Pa., 75 years ago. For many years he has been a resident of Glassport and vicinity. Five years ago he was pensioned by the P.&L.E. Railroad. Surviving him are the following: his widow, Augusta; three sons, Joseph and Walter, at home, and Albert of Homestead; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Day, Groveton; Mrs. Hazel Eckert, Ridgely, W.Va.; and Mrs. Alice King, Pittsburgh; two brothers, David, of Pittsburgh, and Joseph of Parker's Landing; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Neely, of Parker's Landing; Mrs. Margaret Datz, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Mary Steidle, Arizona; Miss Hester Ann Terwilliger, California. Funeral services were held at the late home Wednesday afternoon in charge of Rev. Richmond, pastor of Glassport M.E. Church, of which the deceased was a member. Interment was made in South Side Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
