Marian DeYoung Alexander, 86, of Marysville, WA passed away on Sept 2, 2013 due to complications related to brain surgery. She was born December 2, 1926 to Fred and Mitzi DeYoung; the fourth of five children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey L. Alexander, who died in Vietnam aboard the USS Oriskany in 1966; her son, Steven; daughter, Jennifer; her brothers, Fred and John; and her sister, Angie. She leaves behind her only surviving sister, Rosita; her daughter, Karen; sons, Eric (Sharon) and Robert; grandchildren, Renee, Ravenna, Nathan and Kelly; and her great grandchildren, Celeste and Ivy Marian; and all those who know and love her. Her Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. September 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 2619 Cedar St Everett, WA, preceded by a Rosary at 10:30 a.m.
