Dan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. A long career in business was capped by the successful stewardship of his own company. He retired young and enjoyed many adventures traveling the country with Barbara in their motor home. He was a wonderfully funny, intelligent man, the pillar of his family and a source of strength for all. His personality was a great blend of fun and duty. Dan enjoyed being an American, with all the freedoms and responsibilities that entailed. He loved telling corny jokes to his kids, hearing their groans, and saying "You'll miss me when I'm gone."...He was right. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, Sept. 20th, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church in El Dorado Hills, CA. Internment at Green Valley Mortuary, Rescue, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
