Lawrence Edward Alcott, 74, of Newalla, OK, passed away in his home following a brief illness November 20, 2012. He was born in Walnut Grove, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.L. and Geneva Allcock; brothers, John Heying and Bill Lawrence and sisters, Dorothy Farrington and Ellene Burros. He is survived by his daughters, Laurie and husband John Smith of Newalla, OK and Linda Osborne of Newalla, OK, Lea and husband Brandon Kennedy also of Newalla and seven grandchildren; brothers, JE and wife Billye Lawrence of Springfield, MO and Jonathan Alcott of Raleigh, NC; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service memorial service will be held December 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
