Warn S. Anderson, 80, Rockford, died Sun., May 13, 1990, in his home after a sudden illness. Born June 23, 1909, in Lodge Pole, S.D., son of Axel and Lena Anderson. Married Alice E. Applequist in Rockford, Nov. 4, 1934; she died Dec. 7, 1989.
Employed as lathe operator by Rams Rockford Products Inc., retiring in 1975; formerly delivery driver for Modern Laundry, then lathe operator at George D. Roper and Barber-Colman Co. Member Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Independent Order of Foresters and boone County Saddle Club.
Survivors include daughter, Sylvia (Edwin) Asp; son, Donald "Swede" (Pauline) Anderson; five grandchildren and two sisters, Julie Bonne and Ellen Nyman. Also predeceased by parents, brother and sister.
