MENDON - Hazel M. (Palmer) Sibley, 91, of 22 Emerson St., a mill worker for many years, died Wednesday in Hopedale Garden Nursing Home, Hopedale.
She leaves her husband of 59 years, Arthur C. Sibley Jr.; a daughter, Carole M. Balliro of Mendon, with whom she lived; two brothers, Charles J. and Clarence Palmer, both of Uxbridge; two sisters, Ada Scuncio of Warwick and Marine Blanchard of Uxbridge; four grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born and raised in Uxbridge, daughter of William and Ada (Murdock) Palmer and lived here 59 years.
Mrs. Sibley was a patent drawer at Waucantuck Mills Inc. in Uxbridge and Hayward-Schuster Woolen Mills Inc. in Douglas for many years, retiring in 1973.
She was a member of the Unitarian Congregational Church.
A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Road, Uxbridge. Burial will be in Swan Dale Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Flowers may be sent, or memorial contributions made to Hospice of Greater Milford, 12 Hastings St., PO Box 328, Mendon, MA 01756.
