John Alexander Wallace, 70, of 636 Sherbrook street, died at his residence early Tuesday. He was born in Russell county, Ont., and resided in Winnipeg for 28 years, being a real estate agent for several years. Survivors include his widow Catherine; four daughters, Mrs. Lola Rombough, Mrs. Muriel M. Rombough, Mrs. Kathleen E. Christie, all of Winnipeg, and Miss Ethel Wallace at home; two brothers, Benjamin and William, both of Winnipeg, and four sisters, Mrs. M. F. Lasalle, Toronto; Mrs. J Carkner, Kenmore, Ont.; Miss Rebecca Wallace, Homebrook, Man.; and Miss Martha Wallace, Winnipeg. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Clark-Leatherdale's chapel with burial in Elmwood cemetery, Rev. Arnold S. Westcott will officiate.
