Max was a diesel truck driver by trade for years. Max and his wife Bennie (a home maker) have four children, two sons, two daughters. Sadly one son passed away shortly after birth. Leaving Max and Bennie both heart broken.
At the time of Max's passing he left behind his wife Bennie Jean, his children Jeannie, Rickey Max and Diana. One son in-law married to Jeannie, George Robinson. He was adored by his wife, children and family members across East Texas.
Max has other family members located around Bowie Texas.
Max had heart problems for years before his passing. He had major heart surgery and was blessed to have lived for some time, before his Lord took him home. He died in his home one beautiful morning, after sending his grandson off to school. It was suppose to be this way, for he adored his grandson Christophere(Chris)so very much,(son of Diana).
Max loved the farm life and having farm animals around him, especially cattle and cows, his favorite bull named "Norman", he adored.
He and his wife Bennie became active members of Harris Creek Baptist Church before his passing. His funeral was a large one with family, friends, and church members attending his funeral. One of his favorite religious songs was "Beulah Land". He heard it that day when he went home.
He is buried in the back row on the right side of the cemetary facing the church entrance of Harris Creek Cemetary within the family plot. Rest in peace Max.
