Kenneth Elmo "Hatchet" Harris, 78, Elkton, died at 4:27 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Kindred Hospital, Nashville, of natural causes.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Latham Funeral Home, Elkton, with the Rev. Eddie Mitchell officiating.
Burial will follow at Stokes Chapel Cemetery, Todd County.
Visitation was Sunday at the funeral home.
A native of Todd County, he was born July 31, 1935, the son of the late Willie and Marie Settle Harris.
He retired from the state highway department and also worked as a bus driver for the Todd County school district. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
His brother, Conroy Harris, Munfordville, survives.
