Athens, AL - Jo Ann Barksdale, 68, Athens, died Sunday, September 22, 2013, at the Valley View Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Barksdale was born April 9, 1945 in Limestone County to Henry B. Stovall and Alma Rose Stovall.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Jack Harwell and Steve Curtis officiating. She was a member of Wooley Springs Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Rodney Barksdale; daughters, Crystal Benignus and husband, Jon, and Jessica Turner and husband, Scott; three granddaughters; a sister, Christie Hill and husband, Tommy; brother-in-law, Gilbert Tribble Jr.; and several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Alma Stovall; a sister, Janice Tribble; and a granddaughter,
Brittney Barksdale.
