Henry Lewis Wagner, 80, of Peachtree City, GA (formerly of Winamac, IN) passed away September 24, 2013 at Southland Nursing Home in Peachtree City. He was born March 2, 1933 in North Judson, IN (His obit indicates he was born in North Judson, but actually he was born across the county line in Rich Grove Township in Pulaski County (Pulaski County Birth Index, book H-8, page 51)*) to the late Herbert and Anna Wagner. Henry graduated from North Judson High School in 1952. He served in the US Army as a tank driver during the Korean War. He married Virginia Steiner of Lafayette, IN in 1961. She survives.

Henry was a farmer all of his life, and he drove a bus for the Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, trapping, gardening, and beekeeping. Henry found pleasure operating the sawmill at his home. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Winamac.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM EDT Monday, September 30, 2013, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Winamac, with Pastor Tom Woodley officiating.

Burial will take place in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery, Medaryville, IN. The American Legion will conduct military graveside services.

Visitation will be from 4-7 PM EDT Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Frain Mortuary and one hour prior to services at the church Monday.
