Services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Temple Israel in Boston for Phillip F. FANEUIL, 59, partner in the J. & S. S. DeYoung Corp., a Boston jewelry firm. He was a resident of Buckminster road, Brookline, and died Thursday in the Phillips House of Massachusetts General Hospital.
Mr. FANEUIL was born in Boston and attended Boston public schools. He was a member of the class of 1941 at Boston University. Mr. FANEUIL was a former president of the Novelty Bias Binding Company and was a founder of Chelsea Industries, Inc.
He was active in the work of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston, the Greater Boston Brandeis Club, the Jewish Memorial Hospital, the United Fund, Bnai Brith, the Anti-Defamation League, and the Greater Boston Chapter of the Hebrew University.
Mr. FANEUIL was also associated with the Jewish Big Brother Club, Technicon Institute, and the Weitzman Institute. He was past president of the Men's Associates of the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for the Aged.
He leaves his wife, the former Irene GRASS; a daughter, Nancy F. KING of Wellesley; two sons, Robert A. of Boston and Edward J. of Newton. There are two grandchildren.
