OBITUARY -
Florence M. Durspek age 85, a resident of Shell Lake, passed away 14 Aug. 1972 at Shell Lake Memorial Hospital.
She was born on 28 May 1887, in Ostruk, Poland, where she lived until the age of 17. In 1906 she married Julius Durspek in St. Paul, MN where they lived for 14 years before moving to Shell Lake.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Elsie (Ralph) Smith of Rice Lake; Ann (Willard) Swanson of Rice Lake; Jeanette (Orvin) Olson of Sterling Park, Virginia; one son, William Durspek of Auburn, WA and one brother, Joseph Klainert of St. Paul, MN. Her husband preceded her in death in 1964.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Alter and Rosary Society. Rosary will be recited at 8:00 Thursday evening. Friends may call after 1:00 on thursday and until the time of service on friday at the Blume Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church friday, 18 Aug 1972 at 10:00 with Rev. Fr. Paul Boshold officiating. Interment t the Shell Lake Cemetery.
