HARRY ANSTEAD
Harry Anstead, formerly of Newport, died yesterday at Walnut Hills Nursing Home, Cincinnati. Mr. Anstead was 82 years old. For the last five years he had made his home with his granddaughter, Mrs. S.W. Whitehouse, wife of Dr. Whitehouse, Hyde Park, Cincinnati. Mr. Anstead was in the cigar business in Newport for many years. He was the last surviving charter member of Newport Lodge of Elks. His daughter, Mrs. Georgia Coombs, Richmond, Va., and his granddaughter, Mrs. Whitehouse, survive him. Charles A. Smith and Son, Newport, are in charge of funeral arrangements.

Elks To Hold Services Tongith—Public RItes Tomorrow
Newport Lodge of Elks will hold services at 8 o'clock tonight at the Charles A. Smith and Son funeral home, Newport for Harry Anstead, formerly of Newport, who died Saturday night at the Walnut Hills Nursing Home, Cincinnati.
Henry Cook, exalted ruler of the lodge, said members would meet at 7:30 o'clock at the Elks Home, 312 York Street, Newport, then proceed to the funeral home for the services. He was a member of the lodge for more than 40 years.
Mr. Anstead was in the tobacco business in Newport for many years. Five years ago, he reitred. Since then he had made his home with his granddaughte, Mrs. S.W. Whitehouse, wife of Dr. Whitehouse, Hyde Park, Cincinnati. He is also survived by one daughter, MRs. George Coombs, Richmond, Va.
Public services for Mr. Anstead will be held at 3:30 o'clock at the Smith funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate.
