Obituary for L. Patton Woodlee...
"L.P. Woodlee, better known as Uncle Paddy, died Thursday morning, May 29th at the home of daughter Mrs. Wright Jones in Gruetli. Mr. Woodlee was 87 years of age and had been in ill health for several months. Funeral services were conducted at the home of mr.s Jones Saturday afternoon at 2pm with the Rev. Lawson McCarver officiating. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Lawrence Borne, Mrs. Bee Sanders, Mrs. Everett Campbell of Gruetli, Mrs. J.D. Meeks, Pelham, Tn, Mrs. Jim William, Santa Rose, California; three sons, Jim Woodlee, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Douglas Woodlee, Coalmont, Jess Woodlee, Palmer; one brother, Harris Woodlee of Tracy City; fifty two grandchildren, ninety great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. Interment was in Bonnie Oaks Cemetery, near Coalmont, with Pullman Witt Funeral Service in Whitwell in charge of arrangements."
