Edna M. Checksfield
Edna M. Checksfield, 90, of the Reconstruction Home, Ithaca, formerly of East Syracuse, died Monday at the home.
Mrs. Checksfield was born in Cazenovia and lived most of her life in East Syracuse. She was employed at Continental Can Co.
Mrs. Checksfield attended First United Church of East Syracuse.
Surviving are a son, Frank B. of Ithaca, a brother, Chauncey Emmons of Albany, a sister, Hazel Miller of El Paso, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
There are no calling hours.
Leon A. Oltz Funeral Home, 1435 Danby Road, Ithaca, has arrangements.
