Mrs. Margaret M. Bauknecht, 84, of 1621-25th St., Two Rivers, died Sunday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she was confined less than a week. Funeral services will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, and at 7 p.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church. The Rev. Earl Brouchoud will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mrs. Baucknecht was born Dec. 25, 1885, at Two Rivers, daughter of the late Nicholas and Petrenella Hansen Dahm. She was married to Frank A. Bauknecht on July 1, 1908, at Two Rivers. He preceded her in death in 1954. She was a member of the former Third Order of St. Francis, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, honorary member of Ladies of St. Lukes, American Legion Auxiliary and Two Rivers Homemakers Club.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Matt Konop, Mrs. Gordon Doolan and Mrs. Gregory Hallada, all of Two Rivers; five sons, Floyd, Robert and Richard of Two Rivers, Lyle of Appleton, and John of Webster, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. C.L. Wight, of Seattle, Wash.; 44 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
A son, Francis, preceded her in death on March 12, 1970.
Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 6 o'clock this Monday evening until the time of service. The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 o'clock this Monday evening.
