RICHMOND HILL -- Lee Dasher Sr., 97, of Magnolia Manor on the Coast, died Sept. 4 at home.

He was born in Tattnall County and was the widower of Bessie Sheffield Dasher. He retired from Great Dane Trailers as purchasing agent. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Marvin O'Neal Sunday School Class and a former member of the Administrative Board, the Board of Trustees, the Men's Club, the Finance Committee and the Sanctuary Choir. He served as Worshipful Master of Acacia Lodge No. 452, F&AM, in 1944. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Consistory -- Valley of Savannah and a past president of the Chanter's Unit of Alee Shrine Temple..
SURVIVORS: his wife, Frances Dasher of Richmond Hill; a son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Jean Dasher of Ridgeland; two grandchildren, Tracy Davidson of Shanghai, China, and William Dasher of Springfield; four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews..
