Born Jan. 28, 1924, at Baileysville, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Cora Hatfield Morgan.
Marie was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid quilter and gardener during her lifetime, and loved her flowers. She was a woman who helped people in various ways and was a free spirit during her life.
She gave her all to her six children, during the hard times and easy times. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, George Ellison Jackson; her second husband, Henry C. Hall; a son, Merle Leon Jackson; a great-grandson, James Greene; two brothers, Sherman Morgan Jr. and Bilton Morgan; two sisters, Edna Tolda and Frances Yeager; a daughter-in-law, Carrie Jackson; and five half sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Harry Jackson of Hanover, Jerry Jackson and his wife, Carolyn, of Middletown, Del. and Brian Hall and his wife, Nancy, of Brenton; two daughters, Elaine Hall of Brenton and Robin Hall of Brenton; two sisters, Clara Tilley of Glover and Opal Hill of Elkton, Md.; a sister-in-law, Norma Morgan of Talcott; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
