Mr. John F. Scherer, age 88, a resident of the Manitowoc Health Care Center, Manitowoc, died early Sunday morning, February 19, 1995, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 1995, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Ronald Reimer with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

He was born April 6, 1906, in the town of Newton, Manitowoc County, son of the late John and Mary Koelzer Scherer. He had been employed at the White House Milk Company here in Manitowoc. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Dorothy Scherer, Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Trainor, Manitowoc, Mrs. Mary McNulty, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends surviving. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.

Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m.
